Overview
Cardano is a decentralized Layer 1 blockchain ecosystem built on peer-reviewed scientific research and academic principles. Its proof-of-stake protocol is provably secure, and the network is maintained by independent stake pools. On-chain governance lets holders of Cardano's native token (ADA) and community representatives directly participate in decision-making and treasury management.
Freiholon has recently begun operating a small stake pool on the Cardano network. We are currently monitoring the process and will increase our pledge after a sufficient number of epochs have passed to establish a track record.
